🏛️ MUY Token White Paper – Section 5: DAO Governance
“Because real ownership comes with real influence.”
🧱 5.1 – What Is the DAO Builder Tier?
“Not everyone gets a vote — only those who helped build the foundation.”
The DAO Builder Tier is MUY's core governance body. It's made up of high-conviction early investors who:
Hold 50,000+ MUY-A tokens
Have passed KYC/AML (whitelisted wallets only)
Held tokens for at least 90 days
Are aligned for long-term growth (12-month lock-up)
🔐 Rights & Responsibilities
Vote on DAO proposals via Snapshot or custom dApp
Submit formal treasury or upgrade proposals
May be appointed to treasury execution group
Approve/block MUY-B, MUY-C proposals
Constitution Ratification
Finalize & amend core DAO documents
DAO Builders are more than investors. They're co-architects of MUY's future.
🗳️ 5.2 – Proposal, Quorum & Voting Logic
“Governance is not a feature. It’s the foundation.”
MUY’s DAO governance follows a tier-based system using:
Snapshot (off-chain votes)
Smart contracts for execution
Quorum and majority logic
📊 Proposal Requirements
≥ 50,000 MUY-A tokens held 90+ days
KYC/AML verified & whitelisted
✅ Eligible Proposals Include:
Treasury spending (e.g., buybacks)
DAO Constitution upgrades
New project launches (MUY-B, C...)
Onboarding of partners, DAO expansion
📈 Quorum & Approval Thresholds
20% of DAO Builder Token Supply
Snapshot (gasless voting)
Smart contract enforcement
Multi-sig fallback for urgent decisions
Every vote leaves a trace. Every decision creates accountability.
🏦 5.3 – Treasury Spending Controls
“You can’t build trust without guardrails.”
MUY’s treasury architecture consists of 3 transparent vaults:
🔐 Vault Structure
85% of rent income, distributed quarterly
15% held for DAO use, buybacks, safety net
For repurchases or Series B/C launches
🧠 Treasury Governance Logic
DAO-initiated trigger only
66.7% quorum vote approval
3/5 multi-sig signer consensus
Live Dashboard: Wallet balances, vault history
Quarterly Reports: Downloadable PDFs
On-Chain Logs: Every treasury event visible
Snapshot Links: Proposal-vote-execution traceability
MUY’s treasury isn’t a black box — it’s a smart contract ecosystem.
🌐 5.4 – Cross-Series Governance (MUY-A, B, C...)
“One DAO. Multiple assets. A unified vision.”
MUY is a series model — a unified DAO governs multiple tokenized projects:
MUY-A: Mixed-use, Playa del Carmen (Live)
MUY-B: Medical & long-stay hybrid (Approved)
MUY-C: Campeche expansion (Proposed)
🔗 Cross-Series Governance Logic
DAO Builders vote on funding MUY-B/C
DAO must approve White Paper & terms
DAO can vote on partnerships, structure
Future updates to integrate more members
The DAO grows with the portfolio. One token, many buildings, unified power.
📜 5.5 – Constitution Highlights & Future DAO Utility
“This isn’t governance for governance's sake. It’s ownership that evolves.”
The MUY DAO Constitution (draft v1.0) defines:
Voting rights, thresholds, proposal formats
Treasury oversight and budget logic
Buyback policy and limitations
Onboarding new series (MUY-B, C...)
DAO upgrade and amendment process
📘 Key Articles (Draft Preview)
Voting rules, proposer eligibility
Spending caps, vault limits, budget logic
Terms, pricing model, limits
MUY-B/C approval mechanisms
Requires DAO vote to change Constitution
Project pause logic with multisig override
The Constitution will be formally ratified pre-launch by the DAO Builder Tier.
🔮 Upcoming DAO Utilities
Proxy voting to trusted wallets
Bonus perks for long-term holders
Non-transferable NFT badges
Optional fee distribution logic
Decide how capital is used across series
MUY is not a project with governance. It’s a governed real estate network — built to last.
